"Hospitots is the greatest benefit the Maury Regional Medical Center has to offer. From the administrator to the teachers they are all professional and caring. They go above and beyond to meet the individual needs of each child. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my child."

"We noticed a real change in our 4 year old son after his first week at THE Children's Academy (TCA). He was recognizing sounds and sounding out words phonetically. It was truly unbelievable. It didn’t seem possible that there could be such a dramatic improvement in his phonemic awareness (ability to hear and manipulate sounds in words) in such a short amount of time. By using experimental techniques and a problem based curriculum, TCA allows our son to think for himself while encouraging him to develop strong problem solving skills. We could not be more satisfied with the TCA program because it is a wonderfully child centered program that is also cost efficient. However, more important to us is while they are strong academically with an emphasis on early learning skills, they also allow our son to be a happy, healthy well rounded 4 year old little boy."

"My daughter began going to The Children's Academy when she was 3 years old. She is now 5 and just completed the Pre-Kindergarten program at The Children's Academy. I tell everyone I know about this school, their wonderful teachers and staff and the great programs they have to offer. My husband and I feel truly blessed to have found this school. They show me on a regular basis how much they really care about my daughter. Over the years, Lillee's teachers and the Director, Mrs. Angie Cormier, have become part of our family. It is such a relief to be able to leave my daughter with them while my husband and I are at work and to know that Lillee will be in safe, caring hands. And, Lillee has learned so much! From the fun arts and crafts to learning to read, Lillee has experienced so much while at The Children's Academy. Selecting this school was one of the BEST decisions we ever made for our child."

"My daughter is a lifer. In this case it’s a good thing! My daughter has been a student at the Children’s Academy her entire life. From the time she was eight weeks old, I have trusted Angie Cormier and her team of outstanding caregivers and educators to take care of and teach my little girl. Now my daughter is five and is about to head off to kindergarten. She leaves the Children’s Academy armed with the knowledge not only of letters, colors, and words but the knowledge of how to treat other children with respect, how to clean up her own messes and how to avoid “stranger danger”. She also knows about 1,000 songs, that when you get a boo-boo you put a freeze pop on it (makes a great ice pack and provides a delicious treat) and that you don’t pick the freeze pop flavor - you really do “get what you get and you don’t throw a fit”.
The staff of the Children’s Academy have been a part of my family’s life for five years – we will take Mrs. Cormier, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Raines, Mrs. Clinard, Miss Turner and everyone else who we have been truly blessed to know with us through Kindergarten and beyond. The Children’s.
Academy emphasizes traditional education in conjunction with teaching children how to be good citizens of the world in a loving and nurturing environment. I truly feel that my daughter could not have been better prepared for her academic life at any other facility."

"Your talk at the town hall meeting today has motivated me to write the letter I have been meaning to write for months. As PCS and EDM move to the maintenance phase, I have finally had time to reflect on what made these projects a success to me. There has been an unsung, forgotten hero...Hospitots. This is one of the best-kept secrets and major selling points to employment at Maury Regional. Having no family readily available for childcare, Hospitots has once again proven to be an invaluable asset to me. During the implementation of PCS, there were many nights when Ellie's supper was obtained via drive-thru. I didn't have to feel guilty on those nights because I knew she had been provided a well-balanced meal at lunchtime. On the nights when the work continued after I got home and she fell asleep to a Disney movie, I didn't have to feel substandard because I knew she had been read to at 'school'. The boo-boos were kissed, the TLC was given and she has grown and developed well. I could not have done my job if they had not been there to do theirs. Although the work at Hospitots does not directly affect patient care, it certainly impacts it more than most realize."
